Solstice
Sosltice was my response to Brand Opus’ 2025 hatch brief, with this brief being to create a non-alcoholic drinks brand that interrupts the market but doesn’t seem out of place served in bars and venues across the UK, leaving room to expand globally.
My interpreatation of this brief produced Solstice, inspired by the Earths journey orbiting around the sun each year Solstice is a non-alcoholic cocktail/cordial drink with two different energy/mood enhancing varieties; day and night. ‘Day’ is inspired by the summer solstice (longest day of the year) with its bright white branding, the uplifting arrows and refreshing fruity taste. ‘Night’ is inspired by the winter solstice (shortest day of the year) with black branding, winding down arrows and warming mellow flavours. Its purpose, to meet the market in the middle where non-alcoholic drinks and mood enhancing drinks meet, where people can enjoy the enhancing affects of alcohol without compromise. With it’s simple patterned branding the design can be applied into many scenarios; cans & bottles, boxing, beer mats, social media, etc.
